Okay, I absolutely love this game, but just had a bit of a downer:
On day 6 I was told that there was a new price chart, but the price chart hadn't changed, nor were there any extra pages in the book. At the end of the day I got fined for every single parcel I shipped and when hitting the info button, I could see the aforementioned new price chart! I still managed to pay off the loan though :)
Is that intended? Was I meant to wait until the next day before loading up the parcels, or was this an error?
Ah that sucks, sorry that happened but geez the fact that you still managed to pay off the loan...impressive!
You have to drag and drop the page that said there's a new price chart, onto the rulebook to update (it'll highlight yellow). Otherwise, the game will do it for you "overnight". If you *did* add the note into the rulebook and it *didn't* update, that's a bug.
Ah, I completed the game in 2 play sessions, so I totally forgot that step of adding to the rulebook. I definitely did not do that - I always left additional pages below the scale 🙃
Ive been looking for a gamse similar to papers please but in a cozyier way and this totally ticked all those boxes PLUS the last day was so stressfull for some reason T-T
As a Nova Scotian, I was stunned to see the Peggy's Cove lighthouse on itch.io! I love how the storage shed is the same shape as the little shed on the side of the real lighthouse. Definitely enjoying the game, it's pretty and has just the right level of "have to pay attention to what you're doing but not to a stressful degree" for me. Looking forward to any updates, and to purchasing a future Steam release.
Absolutely amazing game, it's like papers please but so zen and relaxing, you can really take your time and read through everything and go at your own pace, yet at the same time it isn't mindless or boring, you still need to weigh and reference and work out pricing and stamps, but it's forgiving in that you can restart the day if you mess up (but you'll be locked into any mistakes once you end the way, which adds the challenge element!)
I absolutely LOVE the graphics, they're lovely to look at and the stamps themselves are so pretty, I love the little lake goose one <3 The way parcels shake when you rotate them and how neatly they slot into storage, and the design of the stamp remover and how it makes the stamp flash while steamed is super intuitive!! It feels incredibly well polished and the UI is very smooth to use, the keybinds are especially useful, I use the tab one a lot!!
A little trick I learned: You can use a parcel as a stamp holder, smother it in all the leftover daily stamps and it'll carry them through to the next day! But beware, it'll take a few days to afford the stamp remover, so that parcel will be locked out of action until you scrape together the funds! It's funny because I'm sure it wasn't an intended mechanic, however it still adds to that element of strategy in deciding whether it's worth sending the sendable parcel (especially if it nets you a full ship bonus), or keeping it and being unable to send it for several days- it's fun :D I imagine it may be fixed since I mentioned it, but that's ok c:
More tips:
Better to send a parcel to the wrong place than not send it at all! The fee is less that way c:
There's a secret $0.75 stamp under the scale c:
If you need to turn a thiswayup box the wrong way to get a full ship, do it! The full ship bonus is $5, and the damage fee is only -$0.25 (per square!)
Better to send a package to the wrong place than be charged for not having sent it! Unsent fee is -$3, wrong location fee is -$0.50 (per square!) ((The biggest parcel at 6 squares is the same fee either way!))
For the 7 days, it's easier if you don't buy anything that you don't need, e.g. the stamp sorter is useful but not necessary
The only non-intuitive thing I came across was the heavy parcel charge- wasn't sure if that extra fee should be added on in stamps or not! In the end I added it and just prayed I was right, and I was!! Phew =w=
Genuinely heaps of fun, super relaxing to play and the great sound design just adds to that, very immersive 10/10 I haven't even beaten the 7 days yet but I will, mark my words!!!!!!
(P.s. please tell me that little missing doggy in the paper was found :'c I know he's not really real but-! Gah! Someone get Torrent home!!!!!!!)
Edit: WOOOO I BEAT IT!!!! And probably spent like 15 minutes sorting the parcels at the end to try and fit as much as possible- and ended up with $72 so I probably didn't need to spend quite that much time- ah well :D
Edit 2: After a long life of service, my dear circle parcel that I used to store stamps, having stole it on day 1 (it's now Aug 18th), finally gets to retire, passing on the torch to the laminated paper. Goodbye my dear friend <3
And a shoutout to the most perfect parcel I ever did parce:
LOOK AT IT!! The stamps are facing each other and they go so well with the croissant colour of the parcel, and not to mention the weight is 123!!!!!!! Incredible
Amazing, this made our day <3 thanks so much for all your kind words!
The sacrificial parcel is not an intended mechanic, no... but all I see is a clever postmaster navigating the rules of the game, nothing to patch here. That really is a perfectly parsed parcel 10/10
Hi, I make cool games. This game is really cool and such a nice relaxing experience! I really like the art style. This game actually inspired me to make a cozy game :)
Love this game big time, i am on day september 3rd on the browser, but i just downloaded it and was wondering if there was any way i could keep my progress?
I have been playing this game for four days. Roughly 12 hours each session. I mark postage in my dreams. I managed to memorize so much stuff in this game that it's all just double checking at this point. I say "NEXT" out loud whenever I hit the bell on my desk and I talk to the customers about their families, and what they're sending, as well as the cost of stamps. (I am convinced the round ones are WHEELS OF CHEESE Skyrim style.) I am probably insane from sleep deprivation but I cannot stop sending parcels.
I'm actually from the area and I love this game... I've never played a game set in my area before and I recognize a bunch of the stamps. So awesome. I made an account to say that. I love this game. It's like a calm version of Papers Please that doesn't freak me out. I am going to join the Patreon soon because I would like to contribute to financing this game as more expansion here would tickle my braincells in a pleasant manner. If you can afford to do so as well, I think you should.
I have a question for anyone who also downloaded this game, in browser my leftover stamps carry over to the next day, but when I downloaded this game to play it they don't? Sometimes it gives me a few random stamps but it doesn't keep my previous stamps like the browser version does. Is this a bug in the browser version that isn't meant to be in the actual game? Or is my stamp hoard just cursed? Please advise.
Wow, that's....a lot of time, any other side-effects? Dehydration? That jolting *feeling* when you spot a Canada Post mailbox irl? Obviously, the post-master dreams, that's completely normal -- I'll take note of that for the fine-print.
This is prob one of the best comments ever, it really keeps us going to hear how much people enjoy playing, so thanks so much <3
And thaaat might be a bug... the intended behaviour atm is to preserve any purchased stamp packs (i.e. collector's, mystery) and refresh the issued kan-post stamps every day (i.e. removes any unused stamps from yesterday's pack, gives you a new pack to open today). Screenshots/screen recordings/your save files would be super helpful, you can submit them in a bug report to our discord if you want us to take a look!
My only issue is I'm unable to click the pay loan tab during endless mode. I can click it the first time, but not after that which causes me to lose. Should I make a bug report?
Hi! I would love if you could add in the stamp/flip parcel instructions if it's for mouse or trackpad because I was very confused and trying to press both buttons with the trackpad and about to say I found a bug or smth 😭 but for trackpad is R lol
dude i am in love with this game, it has such a unique gameplay loop while it manages to be cozy while also being super fun, i cant wait to see what you guys will come up with in the future!!!
Wow, this is a great game! This is the first time I've registered on this website, and I'm excited that your game was the first one I launched! I don't understand English, but I've managed to learn a little bit of it :) I wrote this comment in the translator.
Made sure to end the 7-day game with a lot of money (more than $50), but it still says they are shutting down the office. Is this the only ending currently? Would love to see more!
It's a bit unclear & we'll be changing how this works in the future, but you have to click the "pay loan" button in the bookkeeping scene on the last day to actually pay off your loan and get the good ending. Hope that helps!
gostei muito, mas não sou fluente em ingles, oque dificulta MUITO curtir o jogo. Pretender lançar em outros idiomas? Gostaria muito de uma versão em português brasil!
GUYS if you go to the v1.5.5 update log there's a pic of all the currently available upgrades, along with which ones unlock the next ones. THIS IS SO HELPFUL ILY DIGITARIUM
btw i would LOVE if eventually you could upgrade the shed to be bigger, maybe another page or two to flip through... unless that's already a thing that i just haven't gotten to yet. either way love the game sm!

Not in v1.5.6, but we already have this feature done and it will come out with the next build.
10 out of 10, would recommend
I would pay money for an extended story mode of this game. Phenominal.
I love how the cursor turns into a tiny middle finger when you return the package to the customer lmao. Great game 10/10, love the details
SO. FUN. AND ADDICTIVE OMG
