This game is AMAZING! It's so satisfying and cozy. Love the drawings and graphics. I wish I had found out about this game sooner. This is now my go-to cozy game!
Thanks for all the kind words! I actually visited Peggy's Cove as a kid, when the post office was still in use. Clearly, it left an impression on me x) Hoping to drag the other dev out there sometime this year so we can get some inspo for future updates and record some better ambiance. Thanks for the icecream recommendation ;) -jkyd
Anytime! Hopefully the other dev likes Peggy's cove as well, lol. I always wanted to go to the post office, but sadly, I couldn't fit it into my vacation. Can't wait for future updates! Awesome game once again!
Fascinating expirience! Love the idea of zen-oriented gameplay with no timers pushing you forward - just follow the rulebook, check the packages and plan the deliveries. Very involving gameplay for sure! My mind wants to compare this game to Papers, Please, but that's not right to do so, since Peggy's Post in my opinion is much more than Papers Please-like game
I like this a lot. Cozy and slow, but there's a lot to pay attention to. The style, vibes, and the art are all very pleasant! Love how you can always hear the ocean for ambience. I would love for the story to be more expanded by inclusion of "mini side stories" via maybe the NPCs would say a few bits of dialogue as they hand you their package, would give more life to the game too IMO. Also what that can do is maybe every now and then an NPC would claim that a package is important so you might wanna consider to deliver that particular package ASAP.
In it's current state, I'm already confident to give it a solid 7.5/10
I'm looking forward to potential future updates! (^_^)
Thanks for the feedback! Yes, npcs, questlines, and story elements are 100% planned for a future update -- definitely agree it would give more life to the gameplay :) Glad to hear that's something you'd like to see
Weird, is this in the web? If so, try downloading and lmk if it still happens. You can also send a screenshot to the bug reports channel in our discord and we can take a closer look.
I think it might have to do something with firefox. It does this with other unity web games too. It doesn't happen on chrome. It's as if going full screen and click "selects" the game the same way you highlight text with your cursor.
This is such a cool and relaxing game, I enjoyed it quite a bit! I have played Papers, Please so I was kind of missing the daily timer to force you to go faster. However, if going slow is the vibe of the game, I respect that.
I really liked the look of Peggy's Post, and wanted to see if you’d be interested in a small playtest partnered with GameUserResearch. This would be completely free, and we'd collect real gameplay data, feedback, and recorded footage/screenshots/surveys to help refine the experience.
A key focus would be how well players understand the game’s mechanics, whether everything is intuitive, and what could be improved to make the experience clearer and smoother. We’d also analyze engagement, difficulty balance, and overall UX to see if anything could be refined. Additionally, do you have any other games in development that might benefit from structured user testing?
I’d love to help provide early feedback and insights that could shape the game’s direction. Let me know if this sounds useful, I’d be happy to discuss it further!
I recently just completed a playtest if you would like an example!
It's an interesting demo. I'd be happy to buy a complete Windows version. I can tell you that, this game (in its current form) is already compatible with hundreds of controllers, because it won't interfere with JoyToKey, although Xbox plug-and-play is popular.
i love this game sm i wish there where more papers please like games on here i also wish this was a little longer or maybe more interactive but its soooooo good anyways
Sorry, that's a bug! It's already fixed for the next update (hopefully coming out within the week), but in the meantime, you can avoid triggering it by not leaving any packages on the scale overnight
Thanks for linking the video! It's super insightful watching a first-time play-through, seeing what players get excited about and what we devs need to improve on xD
Took me a second to get the hang of it but after that it was very enjoyable to play through! Managed to clear my debt on the first try and found I had more fun the more things were added.
Yeah, sorry about that! There's no real tutorial atm and the game does ask a lot of the player in terms of figuring stuff out on their own. We plan to add a tutorial, slow down the rules intro, and update the "?" overlay in the future (once the game is closer to being done), but in the meantime, what are you getting stuck on?
2. It's unclear what pattern to use to glue the stamps
3. How to send the ship???
4. How to write down the weight in the notebook? Which button should I press?
5. English is not my native language. I'm not asking you to do translations, but perhaps it would be worth simplifying the words and expressions used in the game.
Hi there! Not the dev, but I've been playing for a while so while I cannot update the tutorial, I can answer your questions!
1. In 7-day mode, your goal is to make $50 by the end of the week to save the lighthouse. In endless mode, just make as much money as you can and don't go bankrupt lol.
2. Doesn't matter how you apply stamps, as long as the value adds up. I personally like laying them out super neat, but that's just my perfectionism speaking.
3. The ships send automatically at the end of the day, no need to worry about it!
4. When you get updates for your notebook, just drag the note announcing the update onto the book. It updates automatically.
I'm not sure what your native language is (not like I'm fluent in anything but English anyhow), but I hope that I was able to help with my answers. :)
Thanks! Yeah, it's super helpful for us to learn where players are getting stuck :) Hopefully we can translate/localize in the future, but we'll definitely work on the tutorial before that happens
So I have heard about this weighing machine bug that has been occurring. The weighing machine will bug out and display money instead of actual scale, and when a stamp is placed, the scale will display ERROR. I have managed to track it down, and it seems like leaving a package overnight on the scale will bug it. I have tried it with another save file, and it still worked. Let me know if it works for you.
Oof, sorry about that! We've been trying to (unsuccessfully) replicate this bug for a bit -- if you're down to help us solve it, your save file would be super helpful. You can hop in our discord and post it in bug reports
Great work on the game. It builds really well on papers, please whilst having it's own niche. Recurring characters would be nice and perhaps have storms damage the building, requiring you to spend money to fix it. Maybe embargoes between countries aswell. These are of course suggestions. Thank you for your good work.
I love this game so much, I'm so glad there's an endless mode because I've been playing this during my downtime at work for the past couple weeks! Super excited to see what else you have in store <3
Recently the scale will sometimes switch to dollars when weighing packages. The dollar value seems to be 1/10th of the weight. E.g. if it says $10.80 the package weighs 108g. Refreshing and starting the day over does not help, the only way to fix it is to finish the day and it will be right the next day.
Also, what happened to the option to purchase additional customers?
Yeah, I think we just introduced this bug, ironically by fixing a different scale bug x) Does it happen specifically with packages that were stored overnight, or maybe stored rotated? Or did it happen to just any random parcel? If you've found a way to reproduce it, let us know.
At the moment, purchasing the wayward mariner once should unlock the marketing upgrade. It might shift around though in the future -- we're still figuring out the upgrade tree structure!
It seemingly happens on a random day to all packages weighed that day, even if I refresh and start that day over again. I can usually weigh one or two times before it bugs out.
So I haven't had much luck replicating this, but there's a bug-report for this open on our discord -- if you're down to help us solve this, a screen recording of it bugging out would be super helpful!
I honestly really love this game. It has that same soothing effect that a game of solitaire gives. You have to use your brain, but there's no stress, and you get to sort out stuff. The music and ambience is also so nice! Even the sound effects are very wisely chosen and they don't get annoying at any point.
I hope we can get a "quit" option before starting the day, though? If that's possible (At the menu where you can choose upgrades.) Or maybe it's already there I just missed it.
The "hockey stick" shaped parcels tend to cover the display on the weight scale, but it's easy enough to move away.
Anywho, it's such a great game. I love to just jump into my endless save and feel the perfect balance of relaxing and having to use my brain.
Thanks so much! Most of the audio was captured with a portable field recorder -- the waves are from Lake Ontario in spring, and a good chunk of the paper/moving item sounds were recorded hunched under a comforter. We're hoping to add seasonal ambiance/music, gotta wait for June though to capture crickets at night :)
Yeah, there's no "quit" option in that scene atm, but we'll prob add in a normal esc menu at some point that can be accessed across all scenes. It wouldn't save the day's progress though, unless that's the goal?
Ohh wow, I did not know that about the sounds! That is amazing! :-O
The esc / saving was mainly just cause I usually end up feeling "finished" at the menu before you start the new day, lol. And then I feel committed once I start a new day and quit from the book, haha. It's honestly not an issue or anything, I just found it curious that there wasnt a "save and exit" option in between the days. Either way, I'm enjoying this game so much. It's such a great way to decompress. + All those envelopes and cute stamps make me want to send letters, lol
Ooh makes sense! We'll note it down for the future, but atm it makes things a lot simpler for us (and reduces bugs) to just have one auto-save at the start of the day -- there's a bunch of things/positions/upgrades/etc to keep track of and we haven't yet added support for saving all that mid-scene.
Aw, so happy to hear! Definitely recommend getting a fountain pen and sending some postcards <3
The new update made the game significantly easier ! Before I did not even get close to finishing the game with enough money (even without making mistakes, i never had enough stamps or enough room on the different charter routes to send everything), but now i was able to with the same strategies i was previously using! the storage is a very nice quality of life addition, but the rebalanced payment calculation system made quite a difference (hell, i could've gotten the optional stamp sorter instead of sorting my stamps manually at the beginning of each day, where before i was struggling too much to make enough money for it to be worth it)
all in all, very nice game, thank you :)
oh, and some issues i had (i play on firefox browser version):
- sometimes the elements would stop moving (typically when id exit out of the storage/ships), though i was able to unbug them by switching between the different charter routes
- when keeping packages from day to day, they would sometimes stop reacting with the scales so i had to try to remember/guess what weight they were (typically an issue when i was short on/saving stamps on the previous day, or the days with a price update)
- if you open the stamp packages too close to the borders, they can sometimes jump out of bound which can be a bit of an issue
Thanks! Yeah, sorry about that, permissions have been chmodded -- it should work through the itch app no problems. If you're downloading/running manually, you'll need to override your Mac security settings first (Finder > Security & Privacy > General > click [Open Anyway]), but it should work after that :)
That's unfortunate, it sounds like the game works at first, but then it becomes unresponsive. Does this happen at the same point every time (i.e. day 3 or after purchasing a specific upgrade)?
Are you playing in the browser? If so, which one? Do you experience the same issue with the downloaded version? That would help us determine if this is a general problem with the game, or something that only happens on a specific platform/your specific setup. Thanks!
im experisencing the same problem, i got it on day 5, after i bought stamp auto sorter and its upgrade, ive played on browser, i can still rotate items just not move them anywhere. great game otherwise super fun:)
Ooh interesting, thanks! We had another bug report related to that exact upgrade, might be something tangential -- if it happens again, let us know if resetting the day through the rule book refreshing the page fixes anything.
Hi! Yes, the game works fine at first then I cannot move any items. I can still click to get a next customer or open the ship page. It happens randomly. It happened once at the last day and another at day 3. I didn’t notice anything with the upgrades. I play on Firefox. I can try downloading it later and seeing if it happens. Really fun game though.
Thanks, that's really helpful! If it happens again, try restarting the day through the rule book refreshing the page, and let us know if that changes anything. We'll have some time this weekend to try and fix it :)
It happened again on day 3. I refreshed the page and re-did the day and was able to complete it. It happened again on day 4, and I did the same and was able to complete it. I had to refresh once or twice each day but was able to finish the game. Thanks. :)
Edit: Nevermind. I tried another run to see what would happen and it blocked me on the day where you unlock the fragile packages. It had the same glitch and anytime I reloaded it would happen again. I tried doing the day faster or slower but it didn't seem to affect it at all.
Hmm... I was hoping refreshing would fix the problem, as that'd narrow down the search for fixing it. This might be two separate bugs. With your second run, is everything frozen from the beginning of the day (like right when you load in), or does it happen at some point during the day?
If you're down to help us solve this, you can join our discord and hop into bug reports -- easier to share save files that way. Ping @jkyd and I'll meet 'cha there
I enjoyed playing this game; it was relaxing and addictive, but I encountered this strange bug. Sometimes, when I don't have enough space to ship a package, I leave it on the counter. The next day, the package randomly duplicates. It happened to me three times.
Very much enjoying the game as well as the relaxing music.
The only bug I've encountered has been that packages don't seem to trigger the scale at all if I take the packages out of storage on a new day. They all just register as 0g.

Game:
This game is AMAZING! It's so satisfying and cozy. Love the drawings and graphics. I wish I had found out about this game sooner. This is now my go-to cozy game!

Similarities:
There's a similar place like this in REAL LIFE! It's in Nova Scotia, Canada. It's called Peggy's Cove!
If you ever visit, be sure to check out "Peggy's Cove Convenience and Dairy Bar." The BEST ice cream I have ever tasted!
The scenery is amazing there too, with many rocks and stunning views to photograph.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Rating:
I give it a 9.5/10, it's super addictive! I genuinely can't wait for new updates!

That's all! Thank you for reading this :D Have a great morning/noon/afternoon/evening/night.

I respect the vibes, but I was pretty upset when I got blindsided by postage change prices for packages I pre-postaged in storage.
loving the game but how do you stamp something?
drag the stamp over to the parcel and press the 'R' key
right-clicking while holding the stamper should also do it
For some reason, if i play in full screen, if i click anything the game turns blue.
Weird, is this in the web? If so, try downloading and lmk if it still happens. You can also send a screenshot to the bug reports channel in our discord and we can take a closer look.

I face the same exact problem, but everything turns pink. I also use firefox BTW.

I have nothing complicated to say other than this was really fun!
Hello Digitarium,

Gameplay and Critique ;)
is the lighthouse based off peggy's cove lighthouse?!?
IT IS I LIVE BY THERE
lol indeed it is
this is so cute and fun! I just wish I could remove stamps after they were applied - I sometimes get muddled with the sizes and can't make it right :(
Boy do we have good news for you! The stamp removal tool (sneak peeks on discord) will go live with the next update, hopefully some time this weekend.
i love this game sm i wish there where more papers please like games on here i also wish this was a little longer or maybe more interactive but its soooooo good anyways
The scale sometimes changes to dollars. How can I know the weight of that?
Sorry, that's a bug! It's already fixed for the next update (hopefully coming out within the week), but in the meantime, you can avoid triggering it by not leaving any packages on the scale overnight
hi hi!! i played this game and really really enjoyed it!! (thanks for not having a time limit, it made it relaxing instead of stressful!)
Thanks for linking the video! It's super insightful watching a first-time play-through, seeing what players get excited about and what we devs need to improve on xD
Took me a second to get the hang of it but after that it was very enjoyable to play through! Managed to clear my debt on the first try and found I had more fun the more things were added.
aweee this was such a cute lil game! Easy to understand as long as you're willing to click around and find some things on your own!
Ahhhhhh too hard for me... Can't understand anuthing... Even the ? button cant help
Yeah, sorry about that! There's no real tutorial atm and the game does ask a lot of the player in terms of figuring stuff out on their own. found the 75 stamp :D
Thanks for the game! Love it!!! I really like the concept of the game and the graphics are superb! Music is chill too :)
Thanks, glad you enjoyed! <3
I did!

My savior <3 No need for the video, I can replicate it now -- thanks! We should have it fixed for the next update
Idk what happened but the scale broke on my endless file, it's now displaying money amounts for packages and reading ERROR for stamps
Oof, sorry about that! We've been trying to (unsuccessfully) replicate this bug for a bit -- if you're down to help us solve it, your save file would be super helpful. You can hop in our discord and post it in bug reports
i love love love this! very relaxing and satisfying :)
This game is very relaxing and I haven't encountered any bugs during my gameplay. Keep this performance up!
Great work on the game. It builds really well on papers, please whilst having it's own niche. Recurring characters would be nice and perhaps have storms damage the building, requiring you to spend money to fix it. Maybe embargoes between countries aswell. These are of course suggestions. Good to hear the balancing is getting better! Appreciate the bug reports, new build should fix 'em all :)
Really charming game, Good job.
I LOOOOVE RHE GAME PLEASE CAN U UPDATE THE MAC DOWNLOAD CUZ IT DOESNT WORKK
Haha, literally trying to debug that rn...mac permissions are a pain
Edit: should work now! see comment below
OMG TYSM!!! literally one of the best game i have ever found on itchio
I really like this game!! It's so cozy and relaxing :)
Really sad that i can't seem to open it on mac :((( Does anyone know why?
Thanks! Yeah, sorry about that, permissions have been chmodded -- it should work through the itch app no problems. If you're downloading/running manually, you'll need to override your Mac security settings first (Finder > Security & Privacy > General > click [Open Anyway]), but it should work after that :)
this game is a lot of fun but i cant beat it because the game will glitch out and i cannot select anything. very infuriating

Thanks Meatclump, we're looking into it :) Love the username
I just noticed when you return a package to a customer, the pointer becomes a middle finger! Haha
Lovely game! Can't wait for updates.
