What started out as a simple bug fix build (v1.5.5)


Would recommend starting a new save file with this update! Aside from the potential for weird bugs, you won't have access to the new upgrades/blueprints otherwise. 

> NEW STUFF

  • 18 new stamp art designs!
  • KAN-Post starter stamp packs revised:
    • they now draw set distributions from a pool of potential stamps
    • there's 3 levels of starter stamp packs
    • each upgraded pack draws more stamps and had access to a bigger stamp art pool
    • [balance-tweaks] tweaked the stamp distributions (more loonies and toonies)
    • [balance-tweaks] limited the generation of $4 stamps
  • several new ships have docked: introducing the Galleon, RMS Mary Paddlewheel, Schooner 2.0, and the sailing dinghy blueprints! 
  • a ship has gotten lost at sea: RIP schooner 1.0
  • [balance-tweaks] reduced overweight surcharges for intermediate cost price chart
  • rendering speed improved, performance ++ for main menu and rulebook page flipping
  • better internal tools for snooping through your buggy save files
  • endless mode now has a weekly fee of 10$, and it's now possible to lose if you miss 2 loan payments in a row
  • new upgrade: offering to the sea (spawns big ships tomorrow)
  • new upgrade: lvl 3 starter pack (more stamps, bigger art pool)
  • new upgrade: nautical flags laminated poster (handy infographic + stamp storage on reverse)
  • windowed-mode option in settings for downloaded builds
  • (mild) tutorialization efforts:
    • more sticky notes targeting things players were getting stuck on (mainly the dog-eared corner page flip)
    • hoppla20 autosorter manual split into 2 components, unlocked with each upgrade respectively
    • rubber stamper instructions expanded to include the controls: RIGHT-CLICK or R to stamp package
    • controls list in rulebook expanded

> BUG FIXES

  • rip 75c duplication loophole, my condolences
  • fixed the black-screen issue (null-ref with stamps preserved on packages till the next day)
  • fixed the item position and stamp storage page resetting issue with using the 75cent stamp
  • fixed days being skipped by spam-clicking "click to continue" after buying an upgrade
  • fixed stamper getting stuck in the shelf if returned mid-stamping-action
  • patched Q hotkey still "working" even if the shed storage wasn't unlocked yet
  • fixed the gilded stamp counting as underpaid if applied in the days before a price chart update
  • newspaper and notices now respawn to correct start position when dragged off desk
  • patched stuff on rulebook not blocking notes from being added into it
  • fixed postage and stamp prints not being able to be applied through n parcel's "hole(s)"
  • all non-package items should now drop to desk on mouse up when shipping is opened
  • added "coyote time" to the hockey stick in terms of collider for stamp placement
  • fixed rulebook tilt issue when adding multiple notes quickly
  • fixed the parenting issues with the scale weighing items that didn't look like they should be weighed (specifically when taking a parcel out of a blueprint/storage that was previously on the scale, and the scale had changed locations in the meantime)
  • EDIT: gilded stamp hotfix for parcels stamped on a previous day reading as 0$ paid rather than perfect cost
  • EDIT: hotfix for overweight surcharges being incorrect
  • EDIT: hotfix for the hotfix above -- hack for updating everyone's save files to circumvent this bug
